How does online learning at Collège Unica work?

Short answer
At nnc.unica.college you choose a program, pay by card without registering, learn through short classes with labs and an AI tutor, then pass exams with a 60% pass mark. Along the way you earn badges and coupons, and a "My skills" map shows your progress. One session costs $2,700; the full program is $6,480 for local students and $8,000 for international students (CAD).
Step 1: How do I choose a program?
There are two online audio programs. NNC.0S is Sound recording and sound design (960 hours, 13 competencies). NNC.0N is Sound techniques for video games and image (915 hours, 14 competencies). Each has 4 sessions, and every course is made of 15 weekly classes. The catalogue has 26 courses, and some are shared by both programs, such as DAW, recording 101 and mixing 101.

Step 2: How do I pay?
You pay by card, online, and you do not need to register to buy. Prices in Canadian dollars:
- One session: $2,700
- Full program, local students: $6,480
- Full program, international students: $8,000
Step 3: What does a class look like?
Every class follows the same rhythm, so you always know what to expect:
- A lesson with studio examples
- A lab in Musitechnic Studio, in your browser
- An automatic check with specific feedback
- A mini quiz of three questions, with instant feedback
- The AI tutor, Unica Tutor, to go further
Unica Tutor is an AI, so double-check important information. It supports your learning and does not replace human mentors.
Because each class has the same five parts, you can study at your own pace without wondering what comes next. A single class is short enough to fit into a busy week, and the weekly rhythm of 15 classes per course keeps you moving.
Step 4: How do exams work?
The pass mark is 60%. For graded exams, your identity is required. That keeps the credential meaningful for you and for anyone who later asks about it.
What do I get along the way?
Learning is easier when you can see it. You earn badges for each course, each session and the whole program. You also receive coupons: 10% off after finishing a course, and 15% off after a session.
The "My skills" map shows your progress competency by competency, so you can see what you have mastered and what is still ahead.
Who is behind it?
The online programs are run by Collège Unica, a private non-profit college in Montréal (establishment code 749841). Musitechnic, our audio school, brings 39 years of experience, with more than 5,000 graduates and an 80% placement rate.
