Which Unica online door is right for you?

Short answer

Collège Unica has three online doors. Choose ai.unica.college if you want the Applied AI and Data Analysis A.E.C.; nnc.unica.college if you want an online audio program (sound recording and sound design, or sound for video games and image); and daw.unica.college if you simply want a music and audio production studio in your browser. Unica Tutor, our AI tutor, supports the learning.

What is ai.unica.college?

This is home to the Applied AI and Data Analysis A.E.C., an attestation (not a diploma) with 5 sessions, 28 courses and 530 classes. It is based on the ministry's program (LEA.ED), and ministry approval of our programme version is in progress.

It is right for you if you want to use AI and data analysis seriously in your work or in a career change. You can start with the free taster workshop "Applied AI, live". The introductory price is $4,200. Visit ai.unica.college.

What is nnc.unica.college?

This is where our online audio programs live:

• NNC.0S: Sound recording and sound design, 960 hours, 13 competencies
• NNC.0N: Sound techniques for video games and image, 915 hours, 14 competencies

Each has 4 sessions, every course has 15 weekly classes, and the catalogue holds 26 courses. It is right for you if you want a structured, practical path in audio. Pricing is $2,700 per session, or $6,480 (local) and $8,000 (international) for the full program. You can pay by card without registering, and class 1 of every course is free at nnc.unica.college/?try=1.

What is daw.unica.college?

This is Musitechnic Studio: a full music and audio production studio that runs in your browser, with tracks, recording, MIDI, instruments, effects and mixing. There is nothing to install. It is built on the open-source openDAW, which we host ourselves.

It is right for you if you want to make music or practise audio production, with or without enrolling in a program. It is also the studio used for the labs in our audio programs. Visit daw.unica.college.

Who is Unica Tutor?

Unica Tutor is our AI tutor, with the voices of two of our teachers, Élise and Marc-André. It works by text or voice, explains, draws on a whiteboard, gives progressive hints, and asks you to explain things back. Unica Tutor is an AI: double-check important information. It does not replace human mentors.
